Seacom Skills University Admission 2024: Courses, Review, Placement, Ph.D

SSU offers wide range of undergraduate courses viz. diploma program in hotel management and engineering, BA, B.Sc., B.Tech and integrated courses such as BBA-MBA, B.A-M.A, and B.Sc-M.Sc., B.Com-M.Com.

Candidates should have completed 10^th from a recognized board to be eligible for admission in diploma courses. Candidates should have completed 10+2 from any recognized board in relevant subjects with 50% aggregate marks for admission into B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.A, B.Sc. undergraduate courses.

Admission into B.Tech/ B.Pharm courses are offered on the basis of rank secured in WBJEE. Candidates who have not taken WBJEE will be offered admission based on university conducted entrance examination SSU CET. Selection to diploma program is based on the performance in SSU CET.

Key Points for Admission:                        

• Aspiring candidates for admissions in UG Programs are required to apply for WBJEE/ SSU CET as per the interest.
• The final selection of the candidates of candidates applying through WBJEE is made through counselling conducted by “Central Selection Committee”.
• Candidates must be 17 years of age or above as on December 31.

SSU offers various integrated programs viz. Diploma + B.Tech, B.Sc. + M.Sc., BA + MA, BBA + MBA, BCA + MBA in various specialization. Candidates should have completed 10+2 from any recognized board with relevant subjects with 50% aggregate marks for admission various integrated undergraduate courses. Selection to various diploma programs and integrated programs is based on the performance in SSU CET.

Note: SSU CET is conducted by the university itself for admission to various courses offered by it. Candidates seeking admission in the university have to sit for the test.

SSU offers PG courses as integrated masters and research program. Integrated M.A-Ph.D. is offered in seven specializations. Integrated MBA-Ph.D. is offered in business administration, Integrated MCA-Ph.D. is offered in computer applications, Integrated M.Com-Ph.D. is offered in accountancy, Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. is offered in Nautical Science and Integrated M.Tech-Ph.D. is offered in Marine engineering.

Three years Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university in relevant discipline with 50% aggregate marks is desired admissions into Post graduate courses. Selection to various PG integrated programs is based on the performance in SSU CET.

Key Points for Admission:

• Application form for SSU CET can be downloaded from university official website.
• Candidates will be required to fill all the educational, personal details and also select the course of their interest on which they will be tested in SSU CET application form.
• Candidates would be required to carry all the necessary documents at the time of counselling as well as admission.

SSU offers Ph.D. programs in 19 different specializations.To be eligible for admission in Ph.D. programs, candidates should have Master’s degree in relevant discipline with 55% aggregate marks (5% relaxation is given to SC/ST Candidates)

The selection of candidates into various research programs will be done on the basis of the entrance examination (RET) conducted by the Seacom Skills University based on the UGC Regulations.

Note: The candidates selected in the Entrance Examination will be permitted to get admitted in the Ph.D. Degree course after they successfully present their synopsis before the Selection Committee.
