Admission to the University is decided through the CUCET entrance exam, with a merit list giving 50% weight to the MET score, 30% to graduation performance, and 10% each to HSC and SSC scores. Valid certificates are required for verification before paying the admission fee. If seats remain, a second merit list may be issued. The faculty are supportive, offering additional classes and interview preparation. The fee structure is affordable, covering tuition, examination, and infrastructure, with no hidden charges.
Established in 2016, the University is known for its effective, corruption-free placement system. Despite some companies offering lower salaries, the University's reputation for placements remains strong. Students have access to summer internships and research opportunities with institutions like IITs or CSIR labs. Various scholarships are available for district toppers, departmental rank holders, students with a single parent, those from economically weaker sections, and sports enthusiasts. The initial admission fee is 10,718 rupees, including the first semester, with each subsequent semester costing around 7,000 rupees.
Students can also apply for central sector scholarships, Inspire scholarships, or state-specific fellowships. Notably, there has been no fee increase.
