Allahabad State University offers Undergraduate courses under various specializations like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BA.LLB., BBA, BCA, and so on with a duration of 3 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into UG courses is 10+2 and the selection to UG courses is done on the basis of merit in an entrance examination. Allahabad State University UG Eligibility Criteria:

• For taking admission into UG courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% in relevant group
• For taking admission into BCA, candidates must have passed 10+2 Intermediate with a minimum of 45% marks and mathematics compulsory
• For taking admission into LL.B., candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree

Allahabad State University offers Postgraduate courses under various specializations like MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Ed., M.P.Ed, MSW with a duration of 2 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into PG courses is Graduation and the selection to PG courses is done on the basis of merit in an entrance examination. Allahabad State University offers PG courses with various specializations are tabulated below:

Allahabad State University PG Eligibility Criteria:

• For taking admission into MA / M.Sc / M.Com / M.P.Ed, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
• For taking admission into MSW, candidates must have BSW or any discipline with social work as the main subject
• For admission into M.Ed, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 50% aggregate in any of the following programs: B.Ed, B.A. B.Ed, B.L.Ed, D.L.Ed with an undergraduate degree

Allahabad State University PG Selection Process:

Admissions to Postgraduate programs at Allahabad State University will be done on the basis of ASU Entrance Exam scores.

Admissions will be made based on the results obtained by the interested candidates in the University research entrance exam and in the person interview/ viva. These entrance exams and interviews will be conducted strictly as per the new provisions given under the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degrees) Regulations, 2018.

Allahabad State University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D programme offered by Allahabad State University must possess a masters degree from any recognized university or institution in the proposed field/ subject with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade.

Allahabad State University Ph.D. Selection Process:

For the final selection to the Ph.D programme under different specialization, the candidate must require to sit in the entrance examination conducted by the university and secure the required merit declared by the university. The candidate is further called for an interview for the final selection based on the final merit list.

Note:

Candidates who have already passed UGC (JRF) Examinations/ NET/ SET/ SELT or have M. Phil degree can directly appear for an interview.

For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/ differently- able and such other categories, relaxation as per the decision of the UGC & Govt. of India will be accorded.
