IIM Jammu admissions are done through CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/ NET/ JRF. IIM. Apart from MBA, IIM Jammu also offers an Executive MBA program. Bachelor's degree holder candidates with at least 50% marks and 3 years of work experience can apply. For the 5-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM), IIM Jammu offers admission to 120 students. The institute has also released the admission policy for IPM admission 2023. A candidates who hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for the MBA and MBA (HA&HM) program. The MBA admission process includes the following stages:

IIM Jammu MBA selection is based on two stages. One is shortlisting the candidates for personal interview based on the minimum cut-off and the another stage is the preparation of the final merit list.

There are two criterias based on which the students are shortlisted for the personal interview. One is the CAP cut-off and the other is the SAP cut-off. The candidates scoring above the minimum cut-off in CAP or SAP will be shortlisted for the personal interview
