Located in Horwitz House, the Department of Political Science offers about 25 classes a year. Taught by a faculty of 16 professors, courses range from International Relations and Global Environmental Politics to The Classical Quest for Justice. Throughout the curriculum, emphasis is on the role of moral considerations in politics and the fundamental ideas concerning human nature, justice, and the purposes of government. Political science courses are discussion oriented and writing intensive.
