Dartmouth offers one of the best MEM courses in the united states. It offers a great mix of engineering and business courses from Thayer school of engineering and Tuck school of business.
The mission of Thayer School's M.E.M. program is to develop managers who understand both the engineering and business aspects of technology.
Graduates from this program can:
- work in research and development, design, or manufacturing
- thrive in a start-up company as well as in a large industrial complex
- assume positions as analysts or associates in consulting firms
- balance marketing demands with product feasibility and ethical considerations
- apply managerial analysis and risk management across a wide spectrum of industrial, technology, and consulting sector companies
- convey complex technical information to customers in business terms
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Official transcripts must contain course by course evaluation and should be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Submitting GRE score is optional
- Submit a statement of purpose and 2nd essay when prompted
- Submit three letters of recommendation from a current employer, professor or supervisor
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 100 in ibt;
- IELTS: minimum 7
- Duolingo: minimum 130
