Muskingum University Campus and Accommodation

Muskingum's campus is filled with energy and activities, and its residents are known for their enthusiasm and community spirit.There are over 75 campus groups, including varsity athletics, honor societies, music and religious organizations, service organizations, and special interest groups.

Apart from the campus groups, Muskingum University is home to over 100 student organizations like academic honorary societies, music and drama, media, Greek Life, event programming, faith and spirituality, multicultural perspectives, service, and social action, and special interests.

Multiple athletic facilities and entities are available for students including McConagha Stadium, Mose Morehead Field, Sherman Field and other various athletic fields for practice and sports. The university provides student housing in the US consisting of 6 residence halls; multiple townhouses, and apartments.

New Concord offers numerous food options and outdoor attractions just steps away from the campus.Dining halls including Patton dining hall, Wain café, Bait shop are available on-campus for students.

Housing Facilities

90% of the students live on-campus or in the village of New Concord. The campus has different housing styles available for the students including stand-alone houses, Greek houses etc. Students living in the resident halls are required to have a university meal plan, the dining plan cost ranges from 100 - 250 USD depending on the meal plans.

The first-year students can choose within the 3 different traditional residence halls, as they progress, the other 3 residence halls including Kelley Hall, Finney Hall, and Patton Hall get available to them.Apart from living on-campus, students can rent townhouses and lakeside houses available for off campus living.

Townhouses are awarded on the basis of Room draw and have approximately 70 upper-class students whereas lakeside housing can accommodate 6-14 students. Students who are fully active Greek society members, a separate Greek housing facility is available for them. The yearly room and board expenses are approx. 12,050 USD.
