John Brown University is a Christian interdenominational institution established in 1919.   • John Brown University boasts of three campuses which are Siloam Spring, Little Rocks, and Rogers.
  • Siloam Spring is the new extended campus of the university.
  • Each Campus is designed with utmost care for the students and is equipped with seminar-style classrooms, computers with internet access, comfortable lounge areas for students, and the latest in technical equipment.
  • All the counseling courses are offered at each campus on a rotation basis except for Practicum/Internship courses. For these courses, clinical classes are needed which are only offered in JBU’s Community Counselling Clinics.

With a vibrant variety of student services, the university features 6 on-campus housing facilities for its students which are Hutcheson Hall, J. Alvin Brown Hall, Mayfield Hall, Walker Hall, Northslope Apartments and Townhouses.

  • Hutcheson Hall features large rooms with plenty of common areas for the students. This Residence hall is home to 186 students of the University and boasts of four floors.
  • J. Alvin Brown Hall is the home for only Male students’ of the University and has 14 suites with 6-8 rooms along with a common bathroom and living area for the students.
  • Mayfield Hall is a historic Residence Hall of the University which only houses Female students’ of the University. Mayfield Hall boasts of modular furnishing of the rooms as well as an excellent community for its residence.
  • Walker Hall is the home to 166 students of the University both Male and Female which are then separated through floors.
  • Northslope Apartments are convenient classic-contemporary apartments that house upperclassmen and married students of the University. It features one to two-bedroom floorplans for its residence.
  • Townhouses are home to 106 students of the University, both Male and Female. This Residence Hall boasts of duplex-style houses with a capacity of 8-10 students in each room.
