Connecticut College Admission Deadlines

Connecticut College admits students based on two admission intake seasons- Fall and Spring. There are two types of applications available: Early decision and regular decision deadline. The following are the deadlines which an international student should keep in mind before applying:

US Student Visa Process

International students who wish to study in the USA at Connecticut College need to obtain a student visa. For obtaining a student visa, an i-20 form from the targeted university/college must be achieved first along with an acceptance letter.

Connecticut College Transfer Admissions

International students who have been already enrolled in an institution but want to resume their degree at Connecticut College can do so since the college accepts transfer candidates. The admission selection procedure requires the applicant to pursue an equivalent degree at Connecticut College to the one they were enrolled in at the previous institute in their home country.

The selection committee views all the applications properly and notices the credits completed, making sure that most of the preparatory courses have already been completed by the candidate.
The acceptance rate for transfer candidates is 20-30% each year and most of them are admitted at the Fall session.

Connecticut College offers one degree under graduate courses- Master of Arts in Psychology. The admission application should be completed by February 1. The graduate admission requirements for international students can be summed up as follows:

Once the office of admission receives the candidate’s application, they will revert with login credentials required to sign into the application portal. First year applicants for the Fall session will receive an email one week prior to the decision notification about communication of admission decisions which will be available in the online system later. Applicants are advised to login to the application portal to ensure the confirmation of the decision.

Ques. What testing is required for international applicants for admission at Connecticut College?

Ans. International students should mandatorily provide English proficiency test scores to be considered for application. IELTS, TOEFL, PTE and Duolingo are accepted by the college. The college’s code for both TOEFL and the College entrance examination is 3284. Standardized tests like SAT/ACT, are however not compulsory for the admission application.
