MCNY also offers an accredited?Associate in Human Services?that can serve as a stepping-stone to the BPS degree?or to an exciting career in the helping professions?and can be earned in as little as 16 months.

MCNY graduates earning a bachelor?s degree in Human Services go on to a variety of exciting careers. They find jobs in child welfare, social work, counseling, education, fundraising, public service, foster care and eldercare. They can also go on to successful careers in government, healthcare, health administration, ?ministry and human resources and probation.

The Bachelor of Professional Studies in Human Servicesdegree program requires 120 credits. Each semester, students earn 15 credits. Each credit represents 15 semester hours of classwork plus 30 hours of study.


Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
  • Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
  • Applicants must have a cumulative undegraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Applicants should submit one letter of reference from your school guidance counselors, headmaster, english teacher or a community member from your a club or service organization
  • Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
