Digipen Institute of Technology offers admissions to Art, Music, Design, Engineering and Computer Sciences degrees. Presently, the DigiPen Institute of Technology courses include UG and PG programs, offered through its five schools. DigiPen is the 1st ​school in the world to offer a bachelor's degree in video game programming.

Admissions at the institution takes place for three semesters- Fall, Summer, and Spring. However, summer semester is majorly for short-term courses, thereby, not very popular amongst international students. With an acceptance rate of 57%, the university recorded a total enrollment of 1,121 students, for Fall sessions.

Admission Deadlines

The DigiPen Institute of Technology offers a plethora of courses for international students and provides admissions to them in various intakes round the year. International Students Admissions

DigiPen Institute invites international applications from across the globe for both undergraduate and graduate programs. There are more than 13% international students currently enrolled in the university. Intensive English Preparation (IEP) Courses are also available for students who wish to study at the institute, but do not have the proficiency to clear the English eligibility tests. The application portal for both domestic and international applicants is the same, with some additional requirements to be fulfilled by international candidates.

Visa Process for International Students

Once accepted, the institute sends you an I-20 form along with the acceptance letter. With the I-20 form, a student can visit the US embassy in their native country to obtain the visa to study in the USA. Form of financial responsibility and other supporting documents must be carried alongside for the visa process. Since the process can take months to get completed, applicants are recommended to apply no later than the application deadline of July 1 to give yourself adequate time to have these documents processed.
