Also, according to a recent ranking from Best Value Schools, the college is ranked #4 in the nation for its affordability and quality among small colleges for its criminal justice degree
York College has received accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Campus
- The Phyllis J. Mackey Center is the main hub of campus and consists of the cafeteria, Admissions Office, and Clayton Museum of Ancient History, as well as meeting rooms and special event space.

- Another building established on the campus, The Colis and Dolores Campbell Student Activity Center is a place where the students can play pool, shoot hoops, watch movies and concerts, and take part in different campus activities as well.
Residence
- The college stays committed to offering a comfortable living atmosphere for all the students opting for on-campus residence. The college has two residence halls and two on-campus apartment complexes.
- There are different residence halls, including Gibbs/Kiplinger Apartments, Thomas Hall, and McCloud Hall where the students can live.
- One of the residence options, Gibbs/Kiplinger Apartments allows the upperclassmen to live in the Gibbs (men's) or the Kiplinger (women's) Apartments.
- Each apartment building can easily accommodate 93 students in 24 apartment units. The lobbies at each the main floor of each building allow the students to walk freely, also the laundry facilities are located in each building.
- Also another residence hall, Thomas North offers a quiet living and learning environment to up to 30 male students.
Programs
- The students can choose from on-campus degrees, online courses along with graduate degree as well.
- On-campus students can get a bachelor's degree in various areas including Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music besides a degree in other Pre-Professional programs as well.
- Along with offering general education courses and degree completion options, the college offers various online courses as well including M.A. in Education and M.A. in Organizational Leadership. The 100 percent online M.A. in Education program is offered to the adult learners holding a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Some of the famous majors at the college include Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services; Health Professions and Related Programs, etc.

Good program for nursing school, small school, have good clinical experience, and it has a decent simulation for nursing. It also was far enough away from school. I also got a scholarship which helped with paying.
