Mount Holyoke College Campus and Accomodation

The college has a campus with its neo-Gothic buildings, spacious greens, two small lakes and home to more than 40 academic buildings and provides student housing in the USA through its residence halls.

• It has a community center featuring the Dining Commons which serves as the campus' centralized dining facility along with various other components such as a concert venue, a student art gallery, a student-life hub with offices for advising, residential life, student government, diversity programming, and religious life, a pub and grab-and-go store.
• The college has some other facilities within the campus which includes a foreign language center, two theatres, a 250-seat auditorium, specialized computer labs, the 900-seat Abbey Chapel, meditation garden and teahouse etc.
• Mount Holyoke’s library has a collection of more than 700,000 volumes of books, access to more than 200 scholarly research databases as well as thousands of ebooks and ejournals.
• The college has Kendall Sports and Dance Complex houses with a swimming pool and a diving well, a gymnasium with basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts, squash courts,racquetball courts, a weight room, tennis courts, and studios for dance, aerobics, yoga, and other activities.

Mount Holyoke College Accomodation

The college provides housing facilities to its students in its IN Residence Hall Apartments and Non-Residence Hall Apartments with suite-style options, in addition to traditional singles, doubles, triples, and quads rooms.

• First year students accomodation are in traditional space with up to three other roommates whereas returning sophomores, juniors, and seniors will select their room type through the annual housing lottery.
• Each of the residential halls are unique in design and character with some basic amenities. The IN Residence Hall apartments, namely 1837, Brighamare, Ham, Mead, North Rockefeller, Torrey, and Wilder are accessible for current Mount Holyoke students through a lottery process.
• Students must have to purchase the full board plan. Amenities such as MHCTV and the internet, as with traditional residential rooms are accessible for in residence hall apartment residents.
• Students who live in the residential halls are required to purchase the full board plan.
• The college also provides off campus housing options for students in a variety of apartments. Each apartment's rooms come with some basic amenities such as air conditioning, basement, deck, dishwasher, large bedrooms, ovens, office, refrigerator etc.
