Sai teja Review at University Of Texas [UTA], Arlington | Collegedunia

UTA indian experience

For admission first, we need to take GRE and TOEFL and after these exams, we need to apply to the college on the apply Texas website with a 100$ application fee. After these, if we get admitted we need to submit financial documents which they ask us to submit. For all these processes I took the help of consultancy.

Course Curriculum :

The number of credits in my program is 33. It has added a good value to my academics by studying some special subjects. Coming to faculty they are simply super. They are very friendly to approach. My graduate advisor's name is AJIB DATTA. He has helped me a lot in developing my career and taking decisions.

Placement :

Most of the students will get their jobs off-campus only because it's very easy to get. On-campus is also easy but before the campus placements start many students got their jobs. The minimum package we get is 70 to 80 lakhs per annum in Indian rupees. The famous alumni are Mavericks and orientation while joining.

Fees :

This university is not that affordable. Because the fees in this university are high when compared to other universities. We need to pay the fees sem wise for every 6 months. For my feed, I secured a bank loan to pay my fees. There will be some academic expenses but not much, very less.

Scholarship :

For living expenses, we can do part-time jobs on campus. They will pay hourly. Per hour they will pay 7$. With these, we can spend our living expenses. The criteria for getting a scholarship are we should score more than 3 out of 4 . Only then we are eligible for the scholarship

Campus Life :

Campus life will definitely be very good when compared to India. We can find 50% Indians on the campus. The infrastructure is outstanding and libraries and sports clubs are available. Good medical facilities are available. And also students can participate in leadership activities for those who are interested.

Hostel :

Before going to the US I contacted my seniors and asked them to arrange accommodation. They arranged for me off-campus accommodation. Along with me, another 3 Telugu students were in the same room, so cooked sometimes and Sometimes we ate in hotels.
