- The teacher of students with visual impairment (TVI) program trains participants to work with students who are blind or have low vision, as well as with their families.
- Through courses, field-based experiences, and practica, learners focus on designing, implementing, and advocating for inclusive learning settings for children with visual impairment, who may also have additional disabilities.
- The program also covers assessment and instruction in the expanded core curriculum for students with visual impairment.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must have the equivalent of a United States bachelor's degree to be eligible to apply with GPA of 3.0.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a 4 year bachelor’s degree in a relavent field from a recognised institution with GPA of 3.0.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
