Illinois Tech’s Master of Science in Chemical Engineering program will enable students to build a strong foundation in multiple areas of chemical engineering. Students will be exposed to hands-on learning opportunities while receiving targeted guidance in specialty areas with our world-renowned faculty.
Gain exposure to new technologies such as nanotechnologies and biotechnologies to help students prepare for careers in research or professional advancement. This program is also designed for students wishing to pursue doctoral studies.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- A four year bachelor degree or a three years bachelor degree conferred with first class
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 in bachelors
- Submit original transcripts and individual marksheets of previous education
- Submit GRE/GMAT scores
- Submit professional statement about why do you want to join the program and program goals
- Submit letters of recommendation from individuals who can assess your academic ability
- Submit a resume
English Language Proficiency:
- TOEFL: minimum 90+ in IBT; minimum 600 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- PTE: minimum 63
- Duolingo: minimum 110
