Open to individuals with AAS degrees from any community college! NIU will need to approve your technical area of emphasis.

First, complete an AAS degree approved by NIU that links to a specific area of emphasis. Current areas of emphasis:

• Public Safety ? for individuals persons with approved AAS degrees in criminal justice, law enforcement, fire science or emergency management
• Instructional Technology, Training and Evaluation ? for individuals persons with approved AAS degrees in computer software development, graphic design, library and information studies, management and related fields
