Students study advanced concepts of interior design and building science through a unique combination of theoretical and practical courses and design studios. These courses cover advanced topics including finishes and materials, textiles, history, estimating and scheduling, contracts and specifications, construction law, acoustics and lighting, and interior construction documentation. The studio courses allow students to incorporate their learned knowledge and skills in a practical application.? Studio project types include space planning, hospitality, commercial, and institutional.
