The Personal Financial Planning Concentration is registered with Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. Graduates of a registered financial planning program meet the educational requirements to take the CFP ? Certification Examination. Edinboro University of Pennsylvania does not certify individuals to use the CFP ? and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER?TM?and CFP (with flame logo) ? certification marks. CFP certification is solely granted by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to persons who, in addition to completing an education requirement such as this CFP Board Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience and examination requirements. Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the marks CFP ? and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM?and CFP (with flame logo) ?, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants should submit official transcripts of all secondary coursework completed
- Official transcripts need to be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in ibt
- IELTS: minimum 6
- Duolingo: minimum 85
- PTE: minimum 50
