Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must have at least a B average or a 3.00-grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale.
  • Students who have no justification for a waiver must score the minimum required score in TOEFL iBT, IELTS.
  • Three letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and unofficial transcripts (via online application). 
  •  The UO does not require SAT/ACT results.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Students should have an average high school academic performance of at least 60 out of 100.
  • Students need to meet the University of Oregon's minimum English proficiency requirements for admission.
