Master of Arts [M.A] [Music Education] From University of Hawaii at Manoa

The Music Department at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa offers the Master of Arts in Music Education. The MA in Music Education degree can be earned in the Track 1 or Track 2 programs. The Track 1 program (delivered in both hybrid and online form) is intended for those individuals who have attained a BEd or comparable degree and are currently teaching in the public or private school. 

Track 1 is also offered in the online Master of Arts in Music Education, for those whose circumstances preclude the more traditional campus residency route.

The Track 2 program is for individuals who have attained an undergraduate degree in music, but lack a music teaching license, previous teaching experience, or both.
