The Master of Arts in English is one of UIndy?s most flexible graduate programs, with the option to pick and choose what you study. Although most classes meet face-to-face, some hybrid classes (which meet partially in-person and partially online) are also offered. Online-only courses are occasionally offered.?
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous educational institution attended
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
- Submit GRE scores
- Students with GPA higher than 3.2 do not need to provide GRE scores
- Submit a personal statement about your background, research interests, long time academic and professional goals
- Submit a current resume
- Submit three letters of recommendation from individuals with at least two from academic background
- Submit a writing sample
- Submit English language proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.5
