  • The MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University is a 1-year program.
  • The professional degree of Master of Engineering is intended primarily for students who plan to enter engineering practice. 
  • The Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) gives you a state-of-the-art education in the principles and practice of analog/digital devices, ASIC design, machine learning, data science, signal processing, communications, and robotics/autonomous systems. 
  • This program is to develop students' backgrounds in engineering design as well as to improve their fundamental engineering knowledge. 
  • Students are required to take 15-16 credits per semester.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • A GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale is required to be eligible for the program.
  • Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
