Bachelor of Science [B.S] [Law Enforcement - Pre-Professional] From Minnesota State University Mankato

The law enforcement program is designed for individuals seeking a professional career in criminal justice and law enforcement. It is open to in?service students who wish to improve their basic education, and to pre?service students who may be interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement. Option I, identified as Pre?Professional, is structured to meet the requirements of the Minnesota Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) Board Professional Peace Officer Learning Objectives. Successful completion of the Option I program, along with a "skills" component, qualifies a student to take the exam to be licensed as a peace officer in Minnesota.
