- Master of Public Health is a 2 years program at the University of Montana.
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
- The mission of the UM MPH program is to provide distance-based learning opportunities, supported by scholarship and service activities, to prepare public health practitioners who will use global insight to improve the health of the people of Montana and other rural areas.
- Students have to successfully complete 42 credits for the program.
- Students in the MPH Program will take 27 core credits, 6 capstone credits, and 9 elective credits.
- Students pursuing the MPH degree on a part-time basis should be able to complete the course work in three and a half years.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should earn Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university.
- A minimum 3.0 (B or better) out of 4.0 GPA is required.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree from a recognized institution
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
