The Geography-Earth Science Department at Shippensburg University is committed to student learning and personal development through innovative teaching, high quality field application, and use of geotechnology in all aspects of departmental programs. Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all educational institution attended
- Official transcripts must be evaluated course by course by a NACES accredited agency like WES, ECE, SpanTran

Applicant must have completed following coursework in: 12 hours in geography or 12 hours in the earth sciences or a combined total of 18 hours in the two fields; or, 15 hours in the social sciences including six hours of geography and 15 hours in the natural sciences including six hours in the earth sciences
- Submit GRE scores
- Submit three letters of recommendation out of which one should be from professional supervisor
- Submit English language proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 68 in iBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 95
