Black Hills State University Scholarship and Financial Aids

Black Hills State University invites scholarship applications from both domestic and international students. A number of scholarship options are available for students. 

  • Global Ambassador Scholarship
  • Eligibility: Student admitted to the University
  • Deadline: Fall semester- May 1; Spring semester- October 1
  • Apply: International Scholarship Application 
  • Criteria: Personal Essay, GPA, Test Scores, Extracurricular involvement
  • Amount: Free Housing for 8 academic semesters (approximately 14,000 USD spread over four years)
  • Buzz Bonus Scholarship
  • Eligibility: Only high school graduates who apply during the senior year of high school are eligible.
  • Criteria: Minimum SAT score of 1060 and also be a part of the top 33% of class rank

Black Hills State University Alumni Network

University has an Alumni Association established on June 14, 1894. It was made to help Alumni with Leadership, Organization, and Planning of Alumni Activities. The University association maintains a record of over 17000 alumni.
