Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Psychology] From Drury University

The department of behavioral sciences focuses on the disciplines of psychology, criminology, sociology, behavioral neuroscience, and community health. These disciplines address different dimensions of human behavior that can be integrated to form a comprehensive understanding of our human experiences. A primary goal of the department is to help students function as effective, informed global citizens. To this end, the principles of human behavior are presented within the context of an interdisciplinary liberal arts educational program.

Students interested in pursuing a graduate degree in psychology should complete the Psychology Major-Research Track and are also encouraged to complete the requirements to gain the department?s Recognition in Scientific Analysis. Students who are not pursuing a graduate degree in psychology but are interested in using their knowledge of psychology in other professions, like business, communication, education, law, or social work are encouraged to complete the Psychology Major-Applied Track.?
