An experienced faculty integrates?acting, voice and movement into a rigorous professional training program. In-depth studio classes, ?real world? training in audition and camera techniques, and a strong liberal arts education make acting an exciting choice for disciplined and talented students who share a passion for performance. Majors take classes that include acting (Meisner, Stanislavski Techniques), voice and articulation, period acting, improvisation, makeup, directing, acting for the camera, stage combat, dialects and theater history.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit original copies of academic records from each high school, college or university attended whether or not a degree, certificate or diploma was earned
- The university considers various factors like class rank, GPA or equivalent, rigor of high school courses, trend in academic courses over time
- Submit a personal statement of between 200-500 words showing information regarding academic performance, co-curricular activities, future plans for study and plan of co-curricular involvement at the university
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Langauge Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 78 in iBT with minimum scores of 17 in speaking and writing
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.0 with no section below 5.5
- PTE: minimum score of 52
- SAT: minimum 530 in evidence based reading and writing
- ACT: English and reading section scores of minimum 22
