The music therapy program provides a unique integrated learning model where classroom and fieldwork learning are interwoven across the entire curriculum. Fieldwork within community settings provides students with direct hands-on experience with children, adults, and older adults.?
Students develop a wide range of skills, knowledge, and confidence through this experience. Following the completion of coursework, students are placed in full-time clinical internship programs.?
After the Board Certification exam is passed, students receive the designation of Music Therapist, Board Certified (MT-BC) and faculty continue to assist our graduates in networking and locating job opportunities.?
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all your previous education and secondary school
- Submit one academic recommendation from your counselor or teacher
- Applicants must submit a statement of purpose which should include how your experience has shaped you as person and other information
- Applicant must submit an audition for admission consideration
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 80 in iBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum score of 110
