The Bachelor of Science in Physics (BS) at University of Washington Bothell allows students to pursue a rigorous curriculum focused on the study of the universe from the largest galaxies to the smallest subatomic particles.The degree includes the traditional areas of physics and has four possible (non-transcripted) concentrations: general physics, astrophysics, biophysics and condensed matter.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Self report scores on application
- Official transcripts from grade 9 or higher needs to be sent to the university
- Include essays in your writing section
- Additional information about yourself needs to be provided in about 200 words
- SAT or ACT score is not required but is mandatory for homeschooled students
English Proficiency Requirements:
- TOEFL: 76 minimum required in IBT
- IELTS: 6.0 minimum required
- Duolingo: 105 minimum required
- SAT: 580 minimum in evidence based writing
- ACT: 22 minimum in English section
