The curriculum offers opportunities to critique and apply nursing theory and research as a scientific basis for nursing practice. Courses in each program of study are sequential, with the curriculum building on content.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) from an accredited college or university; or
- Graduates from non-accredited programs (NLN or CCNE) will be considered on individual basis; or
- RN's with baccalaureate degrees in non-nursing fields are also considered on an individual basis. You are required to take a Community Health Test with an overall score of at least 70%. This test is only offered by prior arrangement. You must have the results submitted by the application deadline. Contact: HSC-CON-StudentServices@salud.unm.edu

- Minimum grade point average for baccalaureate work of B (3.0 on a scale of 4.0) or better.
- Current New Mexico RN license, or eligible for NM licensure, which must be obtained within the first term enrolled.
