- The MHS in Demography program includes a set of core departmental courses that provides a common theoretical foundation for the work of the entire Department.
- These courses include biological/developmental; demographic; and social science foundations. MHS in Demography students in Population, Family and Reproductive Health also complete a set of specialized courses in demographic theories and quantitative demographic analysis. In addition to coursework, students are required to complete an original essay of publishable quality based on secondary data analysis.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Students must complete their higher education.
- A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required to be eligible for the program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed higher education with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Submission of GRE exam scores is not compulsory but helps for a better chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
