Lakeland College Campus

Another facet of a student's life is campus life. Campus life helps students to interact with people, discover life and places, and be in a pleasant environment, among other things. The campus of Lakeland College is home to nearly 7000 students.

The Lloydminster campus has around 500 students in seven specialties.
The college farm, the Emergency Training Centre's training grounds, and the environmental science program's field laboratory are places where students can learn outside the classroom.
Lakeland College has two libraries, one on the Vermillion campus and the other on the Lloydminster campus. There's also a Book collection, a Circulation/Service desk for signing out books and asking research queries at every library, Individual and group study areas, as well as a computer lab.
On the Vermilion campus, the Colonel Cormack Recreation Centre is bustling seven days a week, with facilities like a gym, a health club, a poolside with a hot tub, and squash and racquetball areas.

Lakeland College Residence

Housing facilities at Lakeland are convenient, full of opportunities, secure, and more than just a bed and workstation. Living on campus is a fantastic way to study in Canada, grow, and get the most out of college experience. The residential areas on both campuses are distinct.

The Lloydminster dorms are simply a short walk from the main campus. And Bud Miller Park is only around the corner. There are two units in Lloydminster Residence Village: Spinwheel for single students and Townhouses for families.
Classes, the cafe, the bookstore, Spurs, and everything else are all within walking distance of Vermilion's housing village.
Vermillion residences have double rooms, and family houses with bungalows near the recreational facility at Lakeland.

Lakeland College Programs

Lakeland School provides over 50 different study options, including degree, certificate, diploma, online program, and university transfer. Also, international students are not eligible for all programs offered at Lakeland.

Agricultural sciences, energy petroleum technology, human services, interior design, environmental sciences, business, fire and emergency services, trade and technology apprenticeship, are branches in which various programs are available at Lakeland College.

Overview:

They have the program I want which is the appraisal and assessment program. It's also a smaller based campus which I like. I like the smaller based campus because then you have more of a one on one relationship with all of the professors and personally I find it easier to meet people. I also knew people who had gone to college and have heard good things but about it.

Fees:

I have no clue. I'm not international so that does not concern me personally. But as far as I know directly through the school they do not have scholarships for international students only domestic ones, which I don't think is a bad thing. But I do know that the government of Alberta does for those international students.
