Trinity College focuses on two major faculties of arts and sciences and theology. It is a college in the University of Toronto, Canada. Trinity University UG Scholarships by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences offers several scholarships, in-course scholarships, funds, bursaries, and also offers financial help under the U of T Award programs to students enrolled in UG courses at Trinity College. The college offers around 90 scholarships per year and these scholarships generally range from 1,000 CAD to 3,500 CAD per year. The scholarships are applicable to international students as well those who join the college for studies.

The faculty of arts and sciences offers around 400+ in-course and graduate scholarships and awards. The in-course scholarships are given based on the academic achievements of the students. The college offers for automatic in-course scholarships for which the student must have completed at least 4.0 credits and each student entering the college for studies is eligible for the automatic in-course scholarships.

The automatic in-course scholarships are as follows:-

  • Isaac Chapman Boyd and Sarah Edith Boyd Scholarship

Other Financial Aids Offered by Faculty of Arts & Sciences

  • Bursary Program: The faculty of arts and sciences of the university also has availability of the bursary program. It also offers bursaries ranging from 500 CAD to 6,000 CAD. The bursaries are considered to be the last step when the students have tried all the other avenues of financial aid. The deadline for this bursary program is June 23, 2021.
  • QEII Scholarships: The faculty also has an option of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee scholarships. The scholarship is available only for Canadian students.

UG Scholarships Application Process

The students need not fill any application form for the automatic in-course scholarships while they have to fill an online application form mandatorily for the other in-course scholarships. Each student is eligible for these scholarships when they enter the college.

Trinity College Graduate Scholarships by the Faculty of Divinity

Trinity College does not offer much financial assistance to the international students than it offers to its domestic students. The international students need to possess sufficient funds for studying and have an estimate of the expenses to study in Canada. The scholarships are not applicable for international students.

The financial assistance offered by the college as per the different master degree programs are as follows:-

The applications for all the financial assistance are available in May, September and December. The college offers several financial aid options like scholarships, need-based bursaries, junior fellowships and many more such financial aids.

In order to avail financial assistance, international students can apply for other external scholarships for international students in Canada.

Trinity College Doctoral Scholarships

The college offers Doctor of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy as the two doctorate courses. The college gives 6,000 CAD for the first four years of the program. The scholarships and financial assistance given to the students for doctoral courses are as follows:-

  • Five doctoral fellowship packages valued at 1,500 CAD and 10,000 CAD.
  • The Bursary committee will be subject to changing the amounts.
  • It also offers junior fellowships
  • It also offers other scholarships and prizes.

The scholarships and financial aid options are considered as important for the students but are very less for the international students.

The graduate awards are also offered by the college and are basically in view of the CGPA that the students get in their academic rounds. Application Requirements for Graduate Awards at Trinity College

The college offers graduate awards for the students in the graduation courses of the college. The graduation awards help the students to cover their living and expenses of studying in Canada.
