Rashi Mathur Review at University Of Guelph [UOFG], Guelph | Collegedunia

Renounced univeristy of Ontario

Because of the amount of liberty we have in choosing courses in our program. I can choose to take very diverse courses which may or may not contribute to my major or minor. Also in the engineering sciences, there is an emphasis on design which was really intriguing to me.

Course Curriculum :

The course is at par with other top universities although I have to admit that it is a bit easier to manage.

Exams :

I just had to fill out the OUAC form, and submit my high school transcripts and IELTS scores.

Placement :

I haven't had any of this experience firsthand but from what I can hear, the opportunities are pretty average since Guelph is a very small town. The opportunities however are open to students.

Internship :

I am enrolled in a coop program but I haven't had the opportunity to actually try to apply for jobs yet so I can't speak from personal experience to that.

Events :

Haven't had the chance to actually be on the campus yet but from what I hear from the upper-year students, it is quite nice.

Fees :

After scholarships and deductions, it comes to about 12,000 CAD per semester

Scholarship :

Yes. I got the entrance scholarship of 7500 CAD/year and renewable with 4000 CAD/ year.

Faculty :

All of the faculty and staff that I have had contact with are extremely helpful.

Hostel :

I haven't had the chance to visit the place yet because of the pandemic.
