Required Exams for Admission
I chose this university because it offered diversity and good research opportunities which is what I was looking for in all of my colleges. I also wanted to get out of the country and experience new things.
Course Curriculum
I think the current course curriculum isn't bad. I am just learning high school material in greater detail to build upon my science foundation. I would have to see what 2nd-year courses are like before deciding.
Faculty
I think my faculty is too large, making me feel lost and sometimes unable to get help when I need it. It can also be isolating when there are such large lecture hall classes and I can't really get to know many people on my same track.
Accommodation
Exams
SAT - I got a score of around 1400. My university-level courses so far have only been midterms and I haven't seen final grades.
Fees
The fees per credit hour are very high for international students and on top of that is housing for several thousand a term. The food is expensive and we have to buy compass passes, pay for clubs and other things I don't use, and also pay for tons of books.
Examination Structure
The exam structure is slightly too spread out for me. I would prefer exams to begin closer to the end of the term so that my breaks allow me to go home. I also don't like how late we find out our schedules.
