Close to home. I didn't have to move out of my hometown. However, the rent near UBC is too high. Also, since I live far away transmitting each day takes around 3 hours. It's a beautiful college though.
Course Curriculum
It's ok. It has a lot of project work which is good so therefore we can learn how to work in groups. Problem-solving as well as practical learning. The exams can be quite difficult especially in the second year.
Faculty
It could be much better. A lot of the teachers seem to be hired just to research and can't teach. Yet other teachers are stellar.
Accommodation
Fees
Pay for tuition. And other random things like gym and pool and they're always adding a bunch of other things.
Examination Structure
1-1.5 hour midterm. Sometimes 2 midterms. There is usually always a final that lasts about 3 hours. The exams seem pretty fair depending on the professor.
