Master of Science in Quantitative Finance is a 16-month program offered on a full-time basis. Waterloo has built an entrepreneurial ecosystem that propels students to transform and disrupt the status quo. They offer graduate students opportunities to engage in experiential learning and connect with industry to support them in inquiry and impact-driven research.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- An overall 80% average from a Canadian University (or its equivalent).
- A four-year honour's Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a strong background in quantitative methods. Such a background may be in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, computer science, economics, engineering, physics, provided there is a strong component of high-level mathematics in the program. Strong communication skills are also highly desirable.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Students need to complete a 4 year UG degree major in Calculus, Algebra, Chemistry, Computer Programming, Physics or equivalent from a recognized institute.
GRE score is required only for those students who completed their degree outside of Canada and the United States.
