Emily Carr University’s Faculty of Design plus dynamic media offers 4 years full-time undergraduate degree program Bachelor of Media Arts in Animation which is structured to provide students with the option to explore a broad range of choices or to focus on specific production skills.

Within the animation program, students can select specialized courses to focus their studies on according to their interests. Some examples of these areas of focus are:

Experimental animation
Preproduction: storyboards, character designs, concept art, layout

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

The minimum academic requirement for admission to Emily Carr University undergraduate programs is graduation from grade 12 secondary school, with five grade 12 subjects, including English Studies 12 with a minimum grade of 'C', two other grade 12 academic courses, and two grade 12 elective courses.
The minimum overall grade point average required for admission is 2.5 or C+ or 67%.

Indian students Eligibility:

Applicants must have passed high school from a recognized board or university.

Applicant must have qualified any one of the language tests IELTS/TOEFL to prove language proficiency.
