  • Master of Arts in Music at the University of Saskatchewan is offered as a 2-year teaching program.
  • This master's program has a co-op work option. In order to be eligible to participate in a full-time Co-op Work Term, students must meet the GPA requirements.
  • The student to faculty ratio is 16:1 which bridges the gap between faculty and students.

  • Music Theory for Vernacular Music
  • Music & Protest
  • Students learn about music career options, develop a career network, and gain valuable work experience through courses such as Understanding the Music Industry, and Arts Entrepreneurship, as well as Archival Internship and work placements.
  • Music offerings focus on three broad areas: Atlantic Canadian cultures and traditions; popular music; and the study of global traditions (e.g., West African, Eastern European, etc.) through ethnomusicology and folklore approaches.
  • The Department of Music offers programs in composition, music theory, and performance leading to the Master of Music (M.Mus.) and in musicology leading to the Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees.
  • The Master of Music in Performance includes specializations in piano, voice, trumpet, saxophone, or conducting/music education (choral or wind emphasis).

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Applicants must have a 3-year undergraduate degree.
  • The cumulative weighted average of at least 70% in the last two years of study (i.e. 60 credit units)
  • Students will be required to upload unofficial PDF copies of academic transcripts from each post-secondary institution attended.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed a 3-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
  • Completed a master degree with first class in a relevant field

What is the percentage of acceptance for the international students in the course of MS in Pharmacy in University of Saskatchewan?

The University Of Saskatchewan has a low acceptance rate for master programs. The acceptance rate for master’s programs including M.Sc Pharmacy program is 22% only. The admission selection is very competitive. Students with good academic performance are offered admission.
