Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to MBBS must meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must have passed 10+2 (PCB/Biotechnology, with English) with 50% 
• All applicants must be minimum 17 years of age. 

Selection Criteria

• The admissions to this course are done on the basis of the applicant’s NEET UG score.
• CMC Chengalpattu releases a list of cut off ranks every year. The cut offs for each category are listed below:

Note: SC/ST/OBC candidates are required to obtain a minimum score of 40th percentile in the UG NEET examination

How To Apply?

The application for this course can be online through the college’s official admissions website. The steps in the application process are as follows:

• Login to the College’s Official Admissions portal and create an account
• Enter the required personal details
• Payment of application fee of INR 500. This can be done by:
  • Online Payment (Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit)
  • Demand Draft - in favour of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai 600010”
• Enter previous academic details along with NEET entrance details
• Submit Additional personal details, i.e. Parent Income, Mother Tongue, etc.
• Applicants will be required upload soft copies of their Signature and Photographs
• Candidates are advised to download and save a copy of their application for future use/reference

Chengalpattu Medical College has offered a B.Sc Nursing course since 2010. The current batch size is 50. The course is for a duration of 3 ½ years along with a mandatory 6 month internship. The details of the course are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying to the B.Sc Nursing course should meet the following criteria:

• Pass 10+2 with minimum 40% marks in aggregate from a recognized University.
• SC/SCA/ST candidates require a minimum of 35% marks in the 10+2 examination.
• All applicants are required to have studied Tamil as the first language and English as the second language in the qualifying examination.
• Applicants must be of 17-35 years of age.
• Applicant must be a native of Tamil Nadu.

Selection Criteria

Candidates to the B.Sc Nursing are selected on the basis of the marks scored by them in the qualifying examination, i.e. 10+2 exams.

The admissions to all the variations are conducted through the NEET-PG exam.
