Deccan College of Medical Sciences Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application Process

Deccan College of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad offers Regular MBBS course under Pre and Para Clinical departments with 8 specializations and Clinical Department with 13 specializations.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology or any optional subject with English with at least 50% (for General category) or 45% (for General-PH category) and 40% (for SC/ ST/ OBC category) for admission.

Selection of the applicants is done on the basis of their performance in NEET-UG conducted by CBSE.

• Only Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) may apply for admission to MBBS course.
• Candidates should be minimum 17 years of age as on December 31 of the admission year. They should not be more than 25 years of age (for General category) or 30 years of age for reserved categories.
• NEET-UG is a National level examination conducted by CBSE to offer admission in MBBS program followed by online counselling.
• Preference will be given to the Muslim candidates and local residents of Telangana during admission.

The college offers MS in 5 specializations, MD in 14 specializations, PG Diploma in 9 specializations, and Super Specialty course in 4 specializations. Candidates who hold an MBBS Degree or have Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate are considered eligible for admission to any PG course. For the MD and MS programs, the candidates have to qualify in NEET-PG while to secure admission M.Ch and DM programs NEET-SS score is mandatory.
