Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, established in 1998 in Ghaziabad, is affiliated to Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University. The institute is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education.

AKGEC offers B.Tech courses in nine disciplines along with a B.Voc. degree under two disciplines namely, Automobile Engineering and Production Engineering.

To be eligible for admission to B.Tech. programs, the candidates must possess a 10+2 qualification with PCM. JEE Main qualified candidates are eligible for Direct Admission.
