Course Description
The application process for the college is carried out in online mode. Candidates can follow these steps to apply for the course:
- Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (http://www.ipu.ac.in/).
- Click on the apply online tab.
- Add personal details and educational qualification.
- Upload the scanned copies of signature, photograph and thumb impression.
- Click on “I Agree” checkbox in a declaration form and click on the submit option.
- A login ID and password will be generated along with the preview of details.
- Proceed to fill the course application details.
- Submit your application and click on “Proceed to pay”.
- Candidates will be redirected to the next page with a preview of all the details filled by the candidate.
- Take the print out of the duly filled in application form.
The application fee for the form is INR 1000. It can be submitted through Credit/ Debit cards or Net Banking.
Course Details
The college offers B.Tech programs in 5 specializations. The minimum educational qualification for applying is Higher Secondary Examination Certificate with at least 60% aggregate marks and Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
The admission to the B.Tech program at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering will be made through Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET). After the result declaration, online counseling will be conducted at the university level.
IPU CET will be held in offline mode. A list of the selected candidates will be available at the university’s website. The application fee for B.Tech courses is INR 1000/-.

Key points about B.Tech admission:
- Out of the total number of seats, 90% seats will be filled through centralized counseling conducted by GGSIP on the basis of IPUCET.
- 10% seats will be reserved as Management Seats.
- Admission to these 10% seats will be done by the management on the merit as per the guidelines of Government of NCT, Delhi and GGSIP University.

What should i choose IT BVP or IT MSIT (GGSIPU)?
One of my friends studied at BVP and his experience was really good there. You should go for IT at BVP. BVP is the most active technical college of IPU. They have a lot of active societies while CSI and IEEE and have many coding competitions frequently.
Though IT at MSIT also has good facilities, it is not good and does not make any efforts for the welfare of students.
