BIET Jhansi Course Admission 2024: UPTAC, Cutoff, Eligibility, Selection Process, Application

The institute offers seven specializations under the B.Tech course. The course has a duration of years and an intake of 340 seats. Two of the specializations, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, are self-financed.

• For selection, candidates have to take the UPSEE.
• Depending on the cutoff set by the institute, the student will be selected for the institute.

How to apply for UPSEE?

The candidates who wish to study at the college have to take the UPSEE first. To apply for the entrance examination, follow these steps:

• Access the official website.
• Fill out the UPSEE 2022 application form.
• Upload scanned images of signature, colour photograph and an impression of the left thumb.
• The university will also provide a correction facility in the application form.
• There is no need to send a hard copy of the application form to the university.
• A fee of 1,300 INR will be charged, which is to be paid online.
• Note down the application number which is printed on the confirmation page.

There are four specializations under the M.Tech course at BIET Jhansi. The course has a duration of two years. It admits 74 students annually.

Eligibility and Selection criteria

• The candidate should have a B.Tech degree in the relevant field
• The candidate should have secured 50% marks.
• For selection, candidates should take the GATE.

How to apply for GATE?

The candidates who are eligible for admission have to take the GATE for selection. To apply, follow these steps:

• Visit the official website
• Register through the link by entering your name, email ID and mobile number.
• After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to your mobile number.
• Fill out the application form.
• You have to pay a fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) online.
• Download the form and keep a printout for future preference.

The college offers an MBA course with four specializations. The duration of the course is two years, while the overall intake is 60. 

Eligibility and selection criteria:

• The candidate should have a graduate degree.
• The candidate should have scored 50% marks.
• The candidate should have taken the UPSEE.
• Depending on the cutoff set by the institute, the candidate’s selection will be considered.

How to apply for UPSEE counselling?

Those who have a positive UPSEE score have to go for UPSEE counselling. The registration process for it is described below:

• Register using your UPSEE 2022 application number and password. Once registered, you will be required to pay the counselling fee online.
• The counselling fee is 20,000 INR for general and OBC candidates and 12,000 INR for SC and ST candidates.
• Upload the necessary documents and get them verified. The documents required are listed below:
  • UPSEE Admit Card 2022
  • UPSEE Rank Card 2022
  • Class 12 pass certificate and mark sheet
  • Rural weightage certificate if applicable
  • Domicile certificate
  • Domicile certificate of parent if the candidate has passed the qualifying examination outside Uttar Pradesh
  • Character certificate
  • Certificate of medical fitness
  • Category certificate if applicable
  • Income certificate if necessary
  • GDDA category certificate if applicable
• After the documents are verified, the candidates will be given an OTP to login for choice-filling
• Candidates have to fill in their choice of colleges and courses On the basis of this, they will be awarded a seat.
• Candidates can then freeze, float or forfeit their seat depending on their satisfaction.
• After all three rounds of counselling are completed., candidates have to report to the college with their documents.
