Cauvery College of Engineering and Technology, Tamilnadu was established in 2008 under Rana Educational Trust. The College aim is a target for those yearning to study engineering, to impart technical education in par with other excelling Colleges/Universities in Tamilnadu in particular and international universities in general by producing quality.

- Vision of the college is “To establish Engineering & Technology for mankind and provide technical education to all in general especially to poor & downtrodden students from rural background”
- Mission of the college is “To impart technical education in par with other excelling Colleges/Universities in Tamilnadu in particular and international universities in general by producing quality, cost, schedule & latest awareness conscious Engineers and Technocrats to serve mankind in general and our mother India in particular”
- The College is located just 5km from woraiyur, Tiruchirappalli and 8km from Tiruchirappalli Railway Junction and Central Bus stand
