DAVCET offers Bachelor’s in Technology under five disciplines. Admissions are offered in both first year and second year (lateral entry) of the course. Admission to B.Tech program are based on the counselling conducted by Haryana State Counselling Society (HSCB). Counseling will be based on candidate’s score in JEE Main. Admissions to second year B.Tech are made on the basis of LEET conducted by the state technical board.
Applicants who have secured 50% aggregate marks in Class XII with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply. To be eligible for lateral entry admission, candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering or Technology with at least 45% aggregate marks. B.Sc degree holders with at least 45% marks and passed 12th standard examination with Mathematics as the subject are also eligible to apply for direct admission to second year.

Key Points for B.Tech Admission:
- In case of counseling by the state board, candidate’s score in class 12th will be included for preparing the merit list.
- Out of the total seats, 75% seats will be filled through the state level counselling.
- 25% of the total seats will be reserved as the management quota seats. Admission to these seats will be made through inter-se merit ranking of JEE Main and Class XII marks.

For admission through counselling by Haryana State Technical Education Board (HSTEB), applications have to be submitted through common entrance form available at the portal of the board.
- Applications for admission to management quota seats can be submitted online as well as offline.
- For the offline application, forms can be downloaded from the official portal of the college.
- Select “Download Application” link under the “Admissions” tab at the home page of the website.
- Take the print out of the form and send the duly filled in form along with the application fee to the college.
- For online admissions, select “online registration” under the “Admissions” tab.
- Register with the mandatory details. After successful registration, proceed to fill personal and academic details.
