Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) From DCE, Darbhanga

DCE offers an Engineering program in 4 specializations. The program is offered in the full-time mode for a duration of 5 years.

Eligibility 

The student must pass 12th class from the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should be one of the main subjects in the same class.

The students need to score a minimum aggregate of at least 50% in class 12th to get admission in B. Tech. courses. However, there can be a relaxation of 5% for students coming from SC/ST background.

Age limit: Applicant should be between the age of 17 years to 23 years.

Selection Process

Admission for the B.Tech program are granted on the basis JEE Mains is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Students can also seek admission via BCECE.

For Diploma holders, a special exam named ‘Lateral entry’ is conducted between April to July of every year, which enables the students to take direct admission in 2nd year. There are 12 Lateral entry seats.
