Dr MC Saxena College of Engineering & Technology Lucknow Admission 2023: Fees Structure, Entrance Exam, Notification

At the undergraduate level, Dr MC Saxena College of Engineering & Technology offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program under various specializations such as Biotechnology Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. The duration period for each of the specializations is four years.

Candidates who have completed their 10+2 level or equivalent with Physics & Maths as compulsory subjects with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject and obtained at least 45% (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) are eligible to apply for the B.Tech program.

However, the eligible candidates need to appear in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) conducted by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University. The aspirants may also appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE).

• 85% of the available seats are filled through the marks secured in UPSEE.
• Candidates are allotted branches on the basis of their merit through counselling conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
• 15% seats are reserved for management quota.

At the postgraduate level, Dr MC Saxena College of Engineering & Technology offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program is offered under six different specializations with the duration of two years each. The total intake capacity for the MBA program is 60 seats.

Admission to the MBA program is done on the basis of marks scored in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination, conducted by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University.The eligible candidates may also appear in Common Admission Test (CAT) or Management Aptitude Test (MAT) which are conducted at National Level. 5% marks relaxation in the eligibility criteria will be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
